Beehive gingers are valued for their distinctive cone‑shaped flowers that emerge at ground level and their adaptability to tropical and subtropical gardens. Beehive gingers are ideal for:

Position and Soil
Beehive gingers prefer:
- Part shade to bright filtered light
- Sheltered positions with good airflow
- Moist, well‑drained soil rich in organic matter
Mulching is important to maintain soil moisture and protect shallow rhizomes.
Watering and Feeding
Beehive gingers enjoy consistent moisture but do not tolerate waterlogging. Best results come from:
