Philodendron squamiferum is native to Brazil, Colombia and Peru. It is an attractice climber that is called "Red Bristle" due to it's red hairy leaf stems. It makes an excellent houseplant and in the Wet Tropics grows well attached to trees, palm and treeferns. The leaves develope lobes as they mature and overall this is beautiful plant and a must have for collectors.
