I've kept rhizome for few days in original pot, then placed in larger pot. no transplant shock and plant is doing very well.

Beautiful heliconia, very healthy and well packed. Acclimate for a month before planting in the ground and don't over water it. Young heliconias will rot very quickly if given too mach water. I know, I have killed few of them.
