10 small established trees in tubes (approx 40-50 cm). Lovely medium sized tree with open crown. New growth is flushed with purple and hands down like a handkerchief. Flowers several times a year with large clusters of orange flowers from both the branches and trunk. This saraca tree is a nectar feeders paradise. It attracts a wide range of butterflies (including Ulysses and Cairns Birdwing) as well as nectar feeding birds.
In Asia Saracas are called "The Sorrowless Tree" as Buddha was believed to be born under one.
We are selling 25 cm seedlings in tubes. I am offering bulk buys on this tree as it is well worth multiplanting. One of my all time favorite plants!!
