Xanthosoma is a genus in the Araceae family native to Central and South America. Their large arrowhead-shaped leaves are ornamental, but the tubers of some species also grown for food. They thrive in partially shaded conditions, but can take more light if the soil is moist enough.
We purchased this from the Flecker Botanical Gardens in Cairns but have found no information ofn this particular Xanthosoma
