Samoan Black "Snowball" Taro28 May 2022I received my taro's and immediately planted two in the ground. The black and green striped petioles keep getting more impressive as they grow and now they are putting out quite a few pups around the base. The botanical name for this cultivar is Manini Uiuli and I think known as 'Arakua' in Samoa. Really looking forward to next Summer to see how much bigger they grow. Currently around 4 foot high after a short Summer.
Thank you for the name Bruce, it's a great eating taro!
