Randia formosa is a beautiful little plant that ticks all the boxes. It is attractive, fragrant, loved by nectar feeders, can be grown in a container and to top it off produces delicious edible fruit.
In the ground it rarely grows over 1.5 meters and in a pot it will grow slightly smaller. It is an excellent plant for customers trying to create a child friendly food foraging garden as well as good food source for nectar feeding insects and birds. The yummy fruits taste like blackberry jam.
