Very vigorous growth habit combined with it's striking and prolific blooms make this a very popular landscaping plant. Nikki tends to like lots of water and has lovely paddle shaped leaves that make it a standout in the psittacorum category.Bracts are orange-red with a yellow border and yellow rachis. Blooms throughout the year and thought to be a hybrid between Heliconia marginata and H. psittacorum.
