Justicia betonica is a ver rare and unusual plant. Summer blooms are held in slim upright spires and are comprised of papery, green-veined white bracts enclosing pale pink flowers. It grows to about a 1.5 meter and can be pruned to keep it's shape. This is a lovely plant for tropical gardens in Sydney as the profuse flowerings are very showy.
Warning to SE Queenslanders, this can become weedy in your area, probably not the best choice for you.
