Rauliniana is an attractive and unusual cold hardy heliconia. The upward spiraling red and yellow inflorescence make their appearance in the spring and last on the plant well through summer. It is very easy to grow and recommended for novice growers as well as people looking for a cold hardy heliconia. Thought to be a naturally occurring hybrid between Marginata and a Bihai, which explains the unusual orientation of the inflorescence
