Growing Conditions

Very well drained rich soil as caribaeas will not tolerate wet feet. They are generally found in subtropical mountainous areas in their native habitat. Best grown on a slope or in a built up bed. Cold hardy.

Detailed Description

Another beautiful and elegant caribaea. The growth habit is very upright with chunky, powdery stems. Excellent landscaping plant as well as being highly sought after as a cut flower. Heavy flowering during the spring and summer and sporadic flowering during the winter and autumn. However, be warned caribaeas can be slow growing and take on average 18 months to flower.
